No – the 12Y-M is a fiber-only model without PoE. If you need PoE, consider the C9300X-24HX-M or 48HX-M.
Can I mix this switch in a stack with other Catalyst 9300 models?
Yes. Mixed stacking is supported with Catalyst 9300 and other Catalyst 9300X versions using StackWise-1T cables.
What uplink module should I choose?
For 25 Gb aggregation, select the 8-port SFP28 module. For 40/100 Gb backbone links, choose the 2-port QSFP28 module.
How do I license the switch in Meraki Dashboard?
Purchase either the Catalyst 9300-M Enterprise or Advanced license (1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 years). All Catalyst 9300/L/X-M devices in a co-term organization must share the same license tier.
